Warmly welcome to join our yoga retreat outside in beautiful archipelago nature far away from stress, musts and demands. We want to give you a weekend where you can find time for recovery through yoga, meditation and nature both through stillness and movement. We serve you nutritious and healthy food and we will have several food talks to give you an understanding of how food affects our health and how we should eat to get a body in balance.
YOGAN: We alternate dynamic and quiet yoga, mindfulness, meditation and breathing exercises. All levels and previous experience are welcome and we adapt the classes to both the beginner and the more experienced.
THE FOOD: Vegetarian colorful food filled with different flavors but without gluten, dairy products and white sugar. Everything is prepared from scratch and the ingredients are chosen with great care to strengthen your body.
Saturday: Food for health. Good bacteria. Anti-inflammatory diet. Inspiration for how to eat to strengthen the body and your immune system.
Sunday: Tools and methods for stressing down and finding recovery in everyday life.
We give you time to just be in silence, sit on the rocks and listen to the waves, take a refreshing dip in the sea and afterwards warm up in the wood-fired sauna. Weather permitting, there are also kayaks to borrow.
You will be picked up by boat on Friday afternoon from Stavsnäs and then we will transport you back on Sunday afternoon to the same place.
About Anna & Melinda: Two yoga teachers who share an interest in the importance of food and its impact on our health. They want to inspire a healthier life where yoga, breathing and food are important and powerful tools for creating balance in everyday life, both physically and mentally. For them, yoga is a way of life. A way to feel good. Yoga is far from just physical positions, it is also about breathing, being kind to oneself and stilling the mind.
Melinda has her own yoga studio on Lidingö, Yogimel , where she teaches various yoga and meditation forms. Pranayama (breathing exercises) is close to her heart as it becomes a deeper inner training that leads to a deeper form of meditation.
Anna teaches yoga and meditation at Yasuragi SPA and is a trained Organic Diet and Nutrition Advisor. She runs Yoga trEat and through that she cooks at various yoga retreats both in Sweden and abroad. Also holds lectures and workshops in green food joy with a focus on anti-inflammatory diet.
